Press Room Spotlight: Genevieve Cortese San Francisco-born Genevieve Cortese makes her TV debut as Kris Furillo in ABC Family's Wildfire. The 24-year-old graduated from the Tisch School of Arts, New York University, earning a BA in English and a BFA in drama. Q. Is the show a dream come true? A. Yes.
